【摘要】:ThisPubliclyAvailableSpecificationspecifiestheXMLapplicationMSML(MaritimeSafetyMarkupLanguage).MSMLisalanguageforstructuringinformationandthegoalistocreateanopenstandardthatcanbeusedgenerallyinthemaritimesector.ThebasisofMSMListhedatamodelwhichdefineswhatkindofmaritimedata,relatedtovesselandshorebase,itispossibletostore.Thedatamodelrepresentsthecurrentstateandonlylimitedhistoricinformationiskeptinthedatamodel.ThisPubliclyAvailableSpecificationdefinesperspectivesassociatedwiththedatamodelofMSML.ThetermindicatesthattheMSMLdatamodelcanbeseenfromdifferentviews.Perspectivescontaininformationthatisorthogonaltothedatamodel.AcertainamountofshorebaseinformationisincludedinthedatamodelofMSML.Themainreasontoincludethisinformationistosupportvesselsafetyrelatedaspectsandvesselrepairandmaintenance.1.2LimitationsAnMSMLinstancewillcontainextensivehistoryinformationonlyifincludedinthedefinitionofaperspective.Forexample,repairandmaintenancecontainsanextensivehistoryofwhathasbeenchangedandwhen,butthereisnoextensivehistoryinformationfore.g.bunkering.Thereasonforincludinghistoryisthatactionsmadeinthepastcanaffectfutureeventsanddecisions.However,someminorhistoricinformationisincludedinthedatamodelofMSML(i.e.notwithinperspectives),e.g.thehistoryofvesselnamechanges.Ifothertypesofextensivehistoryinformationareneeded,anewversionoftheMSMLinstancehastobestoredforeachsignificantchangeandthismustbehandledoutsidethescopeofMSML(probablyusinganativeXMLdatabase).ThedatamodelofMSMLshouldnotprimarilybeseenasasupportfornormalworkonboard.Insteaditisanadd-onsupportfortransfersofsafetyrelatedinformationto/fromthevesselfrom/toexternalunitsandwithinthevessel.Forexample,currentpropellerrevolutionsperminutecannotbeextractedfromthecomputerizedMSMLsystem,insteadthevalueisreaddirectlyfromtheordinaryequipment.InthesamewaytheshorebasepartoftheMSMLdatamodelisseenasasupporttothesafetyrelatedvesselinformationandnotfromnormalworkashore.Generally,normaldynamicinformationduringavoyagebetweentwoshorebasesisnotincludedwithinMSML.Ontheotherhand,alarmsandmalfunctioningunitsaregenerallysafetyrelatedandofinterestinternallyandexternallyandthusincludedinthedatamodelofMSML.IfalarmsaresetautomaticallyornotisaquestionoutsidethescopeofMSML.1.3ExclusionsThefollowingaspectsarenotincludedinthescopeofMSML:?aspectsconcerningcostsandfees;?geographicinformation;?logs,e.g.logofcommunication;?specificcargoinformation,e.g.tracing,SmartandSecureTradelanes;?presentationofinformation;?usersandtheirauthorities;?actualuseofdataandinstances,e.g.definitionofmessages;?bindingstoprotocols.1.4SummaryTosumupthemaincharacteristicsofMSML,it?containsanXML-baseddatamodelforinformationexchangeandprocessinginsafety-criticalmaritimeapplications;?doesnotdescribehowdataisused;?supportsinformationsecurityandextensibility;?isaframeworkandfutureopenstandardforthemaritimesafetysector.
