【摘要】:Thisprocedureisintendedtodeterminethetotalextractablematerialsinrubber.Itwillgivethecombinedamountofrosinandfattyacids,soaps,extenderoils,defoamertars,antioxidants,andotheruncombinedorganicconstituentsthatareextractableinthesolventused.Therubberhydrocarboncanbeestimatedbysubtractingthesumofthetotalextract,thetotalash,thevolatilematter,andcarbonblackcontent(forcarbonblackmasterbatch)from100.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthechemicalanalysisofextractablesfromsyntheticrubbersandareintendedforgeneraluseonsoliduncompoundedstyrene-butadienecopolymerscommonlyreferredtoasSBR.Analysisofothersyntheticrubbersisalsopossiblewithsomeofthesetestmethods.Thetestmethodsandthesectionsinwhichtheyarecoveredareasfollows:
